PDF upload fail

when I am trying to upload a PDF file in the section for creating custom flashcards/MCQs, out of 4 files, only one managed to be uploaded, however they are all pdfs

psychiatry deck glitching in the clinical page

Psychiatry deck gets blurred ( I can’t scroll down enough to see the name of the deck fully). It remains even after reloading the page.

this is perfect esp since SBAs mean sometimes you’re not sure which answer is most correct

incorrect questions

when answering questions i have previously answered incorrectly, the total number of questions doesn’t seem to change - i could answer 10/323 previously incorrect questions and go back to search results and restart the exact same session and there would still be 323 questions, in the same order.

questions looping at the end of spaced repetition session

after complecting 50 questions the session just continued on starting from 1/50 again rather than ending/ offering a review page. again a review page at the end of the session with some stats and breakdown of topics i need to work on would be super useful

q repeat

this hasn’t happened in a while but it was the same question back to back in a spaced repetition session - it says 18/50 but the q number doesn’t change when you navigate backwards if that makes sense

Question Features

Ability to mix and match questions from other topics e.g. nephrology and cardiology, if we could make custom study sessions based on the topics we have selected or chosen by keywords it would be very helpful

clinical patient management

some of the treatment options are not as specific as they should be - eg for patient with wernicke’s encepalopathy, you would specifically want to give them intravenous (IV) thiamine (vitamin B1) - i couldn’t find any vitamin options and ended up giving them an NG tube and a cannula, but the history specifically said the patient already had an ng tube so it was a bit counterintuitive to pick that as a solution.

split view/minimising window glitch

i’m not sure how else to describe this hence the video - the study session disappears and reappears depending on the size of my split view and I often make ankis on questions I get incorrect/take notes while answering questions and the first time this happened i thought all my progress was lost. same with minimising the screen. have tried using another browser - i use arc - but the same happened with safari.

starting question # confusing - not starting at 1

it makes it difficult to keep track of how many question’s i’ve actually answered (it says 179/454 but this is the first question in my study session)

pharmacology, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, histology, embryology, radiology/imaging would all be very useful

option to type in the answer for flashcards

i am a lazy student and if given the opportunity i will read the question, immediately reveal the answer, tell myself that i already knew the answer, and move on. having to type out my answer forces me to slow down and actually think, and take accountability for my learning. it also means the score for flashcard mode can be more representative of performance

skipped questions are answered/revealed when navigating backwards

sometimes i skip a question because i want to answer it later (eg after i know i’ve reviewed the topic) but on backwards navigaion the skipped question is answered a nd the answer is revealed :(

progress lost if you click on anything else

if i am studying and want to view my place on the leaderboard for example, navigating back to the study homepage will erase my ongoing session - same applies to the challenge and settings page.

end of study session review page

review correct and incorrect answers, view final percentage etc. right now the only way to end a studdy session is by navigating back to the search page, and if you do that by accident your progress basically vanishes and you can’t review your progress at all.
